Born in Romania, Horia Haim Ghiuzeli immigrated to Israel in 1975. A historian by training (M.A. Hebrew University of Jerusalem), he is the Director of the Internet and Databases Department of Beth Hatefutsoth - The Nahum Goldman Museum of the Jewish Diaspora in Tel Aviv. He has been an employee of Beth Hatefutsoth for the last 15 years and has held a number of positions. His historical research includes Jewish genealogy topics, and his expertise covers a number of fields, including development of multi-media databases and virtual exhibitions, some of which are available on the Museum's web site.
